The 2017 420 Open Worlds are to be held in Freemantle from 26 December 2017 to 3 January 2018.

The 420 World Championship will be preceded by the 2017 420 Australian National Championship, Test Event, from 20 – 23 December 2017.

The 2017 NZ OW Team selection trials (per the selection policy document) are as follows:

1. NZ 420 Nationals, 9 – 12 March2017, Evans Bay
2. Winter Champs (October 2017), Murrays Bay – for any new teams and/or remaining NZ Team gaps to be filled

Selection Team Policy:  7 Open + 7 Ladies + 6 x U17 (3 girls and 3 boys) crews.
